Bulk duplicate & Edit WooCommerce products

What we want: duplicate products, bulk edit information, import them with the new information. For example if you want to duplicate 10 products for a iPhone case and you only want to change the post name. We need 2 plugins to achieve this: https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/woo-easy-duplicate-product/ https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/product-import-export-for-woo/ Go to your products, and for ease we will filter based on a category.

Now select all the products and click on 'Duplicate product'

Now select all the newly created products, and bulk edit them within the WooCommerce editor, with this we can select the new category to make the next steps easier.

We can go to the WebToffee export function, and make our export. Click on Product and go further

Make sure to select 'Advanced'

Click on Step 3, now click and select the Category we selected a few steps earlier

Now we want to change the Delimter to semicolon, because if we use any comma's in our text it will break our export. Click on export and download the file

Bulk edit the exported data

I had problems with opening the exports in Excel, so i will use Notepad++ because it's way faster and doesn't have problems so far. Open the file, and change the values. Don't forget to remove the text (kopie) from the product Title

Import the data

Go to the WebToffee import, click on 'Advanced import' and change the Delimter to semicolom Go to Step 3 and turn a few values off, e.a. the price/images etc. Go to Step 4 and don't forget to set the value on 'Update'

Now just use the WooCommerce bulk editor to change the products from Concept to Published
